CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Your Supervision Hours
Participation in this supervision group supports your ongoing reflective practice and professional development, in line with the JKL Neurodivergence-Informed Reflective Supervision Framework.
Depending on your professional registration and membership status, supervision may contribute towards your COSRT supervision requirements [COSRT]:
Group supervision can complement one-to-one supervision, counted as follows:
If the group has four or fewer members, the total session time can be counted towards your supervision total.
If the group has more than four members, the amount of supervision time credited is arrived at by dividing the total session time by the number of participants. For example, six members in a 90-minute group would gain 15 minutes towards a supervision hour.
Please retain your own CPD log alongside your attendance record where required by your professional body.
A note on our groups: Each supervisory groups meet for 1.5 hours per month in a group-only format. Since COSRT requires at least 1 hour of one-to-one supervision monthly, our group sessions alone may not fully satisfy your requirement if you're on the COSRT Registered or Accredited pathway, please arrange one-to-one supervision separately if needed, and keep your own combined log across both.
Supervisors must be listed on the COSRT Registered or Accredited Register of Supervisors.

Your General CPD Hours
Supervision and general CPD are two separate requirements, this is the general one.
Professional Body Requirements
COSRT minimum required 30 hours/year
Of which PRT - specificat least 20 hours/year
Activities that count include training courses and events, in-service/work-based training, and conference attendance (online or in-person), ideally each with a certificate of completion. Informal discussions with colleagues, as a normal part of practice, do not count as CPD.
