Supervision
Our supervision is built on trust, curiosity, respect, and collaboration. Whichever group you belong to, this agreement holds for all of us.
Together we agree to:
maintain confidentiality
anonymise all client information
respect different perspectives and therapeutic approaches
create a psychologically safe environment
contribute with openness and curiosity
support one another through thoughtful reflection rather than judgement
remain attentive to both the clinical work and the group process
My Commitment as Facilitator
My role as Clinical Supervisor is to support reflective thinking, maintain psychological safety, facilitate discussion, and encourage the development of clinically robust formulations. Together, we will create a space where uncertainty is welcomed, questions are valued, and learning is shared.
Thank you for being part of this community. I look forward to working with you and supporting your continued growth as clinicians.
The JKL Neurodivergence-Informed Reflective Supervision Framework
-
Understanding the person, relationship, and context before reaching for a technique.
-
Attending to what is happening between people, and between therapist and client, not just to the presenting symptom.
-
Recognising strengths, differences, and diverse ways of experiencing intimacy, communication, and connection.
-
Cultivating self-awareness, ethical thinking, and ongoing professional growth.
-
Drawing on research alongside clinical expertise and lived experience.
Everything we do together in supervision is held within a shared way of thinking, not a checklist, but a set of habits of mind we bring to every case, every formulation, and every conversation:
Group Supervision
Our groups meet monthly for 1.5 hours [90 minutes] in a group-only format. If you need the one-to-one hour for COSRT purposes, please arrange this separately and log it alongside your group hours. How group hours count: groups of four or fewer members count the full session time; larger groups divide the session time by the number of participants (e.g. six members in a 90-minute group = 15 minutes each).
Individual Supervision
Currently, Justyna has no available appointments. If you would like to access Justyna’s services, please contact us to reserve a place on the waiting list. As soon as an appointment becomes available, we will contact you to offer a suitable time.
At present, the estimated waiting time is approximately 6 months.
Reflection Template — Preparing a Case for Supervision
You may find the following prompts helpful when preparing a case, formulation, ethical dilemma, or process reflection to bring to supervision, whether individual or group. They are loosely organised around the JKL Neurodivergence-Informed Reflective Supervision Framework, but you don't need to answer every question, use whatever helps you think.
Getting started
What brings this case to supervision today?
What are you noticing?
What feels challenging or uncertain?
Formulation before intervention
What hypotheses or formulations are emerging?
What don't you yet understand about this person, couple, or relationship?
Neurodivergent-affirming practice
How might neurodivergence be influencing this presentation?
What strengths or differences are present that might be easy to overlook?
Are you (or the client) assuming a neurotypical framework for intimacy, communication, or relating?
Relational thinking
What is happening relationally between therapist and client?
What is happening between the members of the couple or relationship, if applicable?
Reflective practitioner development
What is this case bringing up for you personally or professionally?
Where do you feel most and least confident here?
What you need from supervision
What would you like from this session today — a formulation, a challenge, a sounding board, permission to slow down?
If you're in group supervision, not every member needs to present a case at every meeting. Listening, reflecting, and contributing to the discussion are equally valuable.
Please anonymise all client information in line with our Group Agreement above before bringing any material to supervision.
