About Me
Hello, I’m Tamsin [she/her]
As a Trainee Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore concerns related to sex, intimacy, identity and relationships. My aim is to support your emotional, relational and sexual wellbeing by working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I am interested in how your experiences, beliefs and personal history may be shaping your current relationship with yourself and others, and I strive to help you navigate these areas with curiosity, compassion and clarity.
My previous career as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in acute psychiatric services has deeply influenced the way I work. Having supported individuals in both clinical and managerial roles, I have come to appreciate the powerful link between emotional safety, meaningful connection and overall wellbeing. Over time, I found myself drawn toward themes of identity, relationships and the human need for intimacy, which led me to specialise in psychosexual and relationship therapy.
I understand that discussing sexual functioning, desire, or relationship difficulties can feel daunting. Many people experience uncertainty, shame or confusion in these areas, especially when their inner world feels disconnected from their relationships or their sense of self. My role is to help you approach these parts of your life with openness, understanding and renewed confidence. Together, we will work toward your therapeutic goals while building greater self-awareness and supporting lasting, positive change.
My practice is grounded in respect for each person’s individuality and the diverse social and relational contexts that shape their experiences. I affirm all genders, sexualities and relationship styles, including those within the GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) umbrella. Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic environment where you feel recognised, valued and free to explore without judgment.
Your story and lived experiences will always lead the way in our work together. My priority is to support you in developing a stronger, more empowered and authentic relationship with yourself and others.
