Our Services

Individual Psychosexual Psychotherapy

  • Psychosexual psychotherapy is a specialised form of talk therapy designed to address a spectrum of sexual difficulties individuals may be facing. This includes issues like sexual dysfunctions, desire discrepancies, sexual trauma, gender identity exploration, sexual orientation concerns, and challenges related to intimacy and relationships.

    Currently, all sessions are held weekly/fortnightly online using Zoom.

Individual Counselling & Coaching

Relationship / Couple Psychotherapy

  • Relational or couple psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on improving communication and resolving conflicts within intimate relationships.

    Psychosexual therapy, a subset of relational therapy, specifically addresses issues related to intimacy and sexual functioning within a couple.

    In both types of relational therapy, couples can anticipate a safe and supportive environment where they can openly discuss their concerns, gain insights into relational patterns, and develop strategies for building a stronger, more fulfilling connection.

    Upon client request, session durations can be conveniently extended to accommodate your needs.

Sexual Health & HIV Wellbeing Advising

  • Navigating discussions about sexual health and intimate experiences can often stir up feelings of discomfort and awkwardness. However, please know that throughout our extensive years of practice, there's scarcely any aspect of sexual health that we haven't encountered or assisted with.

    Some of the areas we can address include:

    2. Managing the emotional impact of an STI diagnosis, including herpes, HPV, HIV.

    3. Exploring questions of sexual identity and orientation

Low Cost Sex & Relationship Therapy

JKL Therapy Centre offers low-cost sex and relationship therapy online, for one-to-one and intimate partner therapy,

for the treatment of sexual function and relationship problems.

We accept self-referrals and referrals from organisations and NHS.

  • do not offer a crisis service.

  • do not offer psychotherapy for people struggling with active alcohol drinking. Our policy says that you have to be sober while attending sessions and not be under the influence of any psychedelic drugs. If you struggle with alcohol misuse, contact your local Rehab & Recovery Service.
